Teacher workflow
From an empty class list to a printed report card.
Vision Belize follows the order a teacher already works in. Nothing is skipped, and no step asks for information you would not have at that point in the term.
01The six steps

The six steps
Six steps, in the order they happen.
Each step uses what the one before it produced — which is why they are numbered. Select any step to see what it covers.
Step 01 of 06
Set up the class and subject
Choose the school year and term, pick the class, then select or create the subject you are marking.
- Familiar naming: Standard 5A, Form 2B
- School year and Term 1, 2 or 3
- Reuse a class list across every subject you teach
Create and name assessments
- Assessment categories set by the school
- Recognisable names, not just "Quiz 3"
- Set the mark each assessment is out of
Enter and save student grades
- Keyboard-first entry down a column
- Missing marks stay visible instead of counting as zero
- Edit an earlier mark at any point in the term
Calculate and review term averages
- Simple or weighted, per school
- Category weights such as tests 25%, quizzes 15%
- Class-wide view of where the term stands
Add comments, attendance and conduct
- A written comment per student
- Days present, days in term, times late
- Conduct in your school’s own wording
Generate and print report cards
- Your school’s own report-card layout
- Principal comments and signature areas
- Print a class set or export as PDF
02Grade entry

Grade entry
What step three actually looks like.
Entering marks is the part of the term a teacher repeats most, so it is the part the interface is built around. A mark goes in, the average recalculates, the row saves.

Create and name assessments
Add assignments, quizzes, projects, tests and examinations, and give each one a name you will recognise later.
- Assessment categories set by the school
- Recognisable names, not just "Quiz 3"
- Set the mark each assessment is out of
03
Enter and save student grades
Work down the class list entering marks. Each entry is saved as you go, and can be corrected later without redoing the row.
- Keyboard-first entry down a column
- Missing marks stay visible instead of counting as zero
- Edit an earlier mark at any point in the term
04
Calculate and review term averages
Averages update as marks are entered, using either a simple average or the weighting your school has configured.
- Simple or weighted, per school
- Category weights such as tests 25%, quizzes 15%
- Class-wide view of where the term stands
05
Add comments, attendance and conduct
Record the written comment, attendance figures and conduct that belong on each student’s report card, alongside the grades they accompany.
- A written comment per student
- Days present, days in term, times late
- Conduct in your school’s own wording
06
Generate and print report cards
Send the term’s grades to the report card in your school’s format, then print a class set or export a PDF.
- Your school’s own report-card layout
- Principal comments and signature areas
- Print a class set or export as PDF
