Belizean schools do not all use the same report card, so Vision Belize is not built around one. Every school sets its own identity, sections and grading scale — and the cards it prints follow them.

03Where grades come from

Where grades come from

The grades on the card are the ones you approved.

Report cards are not typed up separately. The final grade a teacher approves in the gradebook is the grade that appears here — including an overridden one, with the teacher’s reason kept on record.

Step 01
Marks are entered against each named assessment.
Step 02
The term average is calculated using the school’s method.
Step 03
The teacher reviews the calculated grade and approves it, or overrides it and records why.
Step 04
Approved grades are transferred to the report card.
Step 05
Comments, attendance and conduct are added.
Step 06
The card is printed or exported as a PDF.
